Meaning
Mohiniyattam is the classical dance of Kerala, named after Mohini, the enchanting female form of Vishnu. It follows the gentle lasya style, with swaying movements, and was revived in the 1930s by the poet Vallathol at Kerala Kalamandalam. Dancers wear cream and gold in the kasavu manner.
