Vizhi
விழிThe eye, or the gaze.
Meaning
Vizhi means eye, and by extension the look or glance. It is a favourite word in descriptive passages, where a deity's or a heroine's eyes are dwelt on at length — and a natural cue for the dancer, since the eyes carry so much of the abhinaya.
