Aishwarya Ananth Karthik is a distinguished Bharatanatyam performer, teacher, and choreographer based in Bengaluru, India. She is a senior disciple of the renowned Padma Shri Prof. Sudharani Raghupathy, continuing a rich guru parampara that includes K. P. Kittappa Pillai and Sudharani Raghupathy. Aishwarya also lists M.A. Mridula Anand as her guru. She holds a Master's degree in Bharatanatyam, demonstrating her deep academic and practical engagement with the art form. Her arangetram marked its twenty-fifth anniversary on August 30th, 2025, signifying a significant career span. As an accomplished artist, Aishwarya is celebrated for her profound depth of expression, technical precision, and unwavering commitment to the classical Bharatanatyam tradition. She has captivated audiences through her performances at prestigious venues and festivals across India, including the Krishna Gana Sabha in Chennai and the India Habitat Centre in Delhi. Her recitals often feature unique choreographies developed by her guru, and she is also proficient in nattuvangam. Aishwarya Ananth Karthik is the Artistic Director of the Silambam Academy of Fine Arts in Bengaluru, an institution she founded and leads. The academy celebrated its twelfth anniversary on August 30th, 2025, under her guidance. Through her pedagogy, she inspires and trains the next generation of Bharatanatyam dancers.
