Akshita Tripathi is an accomplished Kathak dancer with over 15 years of experience, known for blending classical training with modern influences in her performances. She holds a post-graduate degree in Performing Arts from Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya, recognized as Asia's first Classical Music & Arts University. Tripathi has received training from esteemed gurus and maestros including Dr. Mandavi Singh, Shushant Gaurav, Dr. Jitesh Gadpayle, and Dr. Samrat Chaudhary. Her career as a Kathak performer includes participation in numerous stage performances and events, notably being part of a Guinness World Record performance. She has performed at significant cultural programs such as EK SHAM SENA KE NAAM and DURGA POOJA SAMARO in 2018 and 2019, and the 50th Khajuraho Nritya Samaroh. In 2022, she participated in the World Dancers Olympiad, an International Online Dance Contest & Festival. Beyond performing, Akshita Tripathi is also dedicated to teaching, regularly conducting classes and workshops across various platforms and locations to share her passion for Kathak with a diverse community of learners. She is associated with the Indian Institute For Performing Arts (IIPA). In addition to her dance career, Tripathi has an extensive portfolio in filmmaking and theatre, working as an independent filmmaker, art director, assistant director, and theatre artist.
