Amirthavarshini Raju is a dedicated Bharatanatyam dancer, choreographer, and teacher whose artistic journey is rooted in a three-generation legacy of the classical Indian dance form. Her formal training in Bharatanatyam commenced at the tender age of five, under the direct tutelage of her mother. This early immersion culminated in her Arangetram, a significant debut performance, at the age of thirteen. Following her Arangetram, Amirthavarshini has actively engaged in various facets of Bharatanatyam, including performing, choreographing, and acting in dance dramas. Her artistic passion lies in the creation of thematic performances that intricately weave together the profound connection between the divine and humanity. Amirthavarshini Raju continues to contribute to the art form by teaching and choreographing Bharatanatyam, maintaining a presence both in India and Norway. Her primary base of operations is Oslo, Norway.
