Dr. Asha Nair is an Indian classical dance teacher, choreographer, and creative director with over three decades of experience in the field. She is primarily associated with Bharatanatyam, a classical South Indian dance form. Based in Kochi, India, Dr. Nair also has a significant teaching presence in Abu Dhabi, where her students have performed their arangetrams. She leads the Dr. Asha Nair S Dance Group and is associated with the Bharathanjali Classical Dance Training Centre. Her work includes choreographing and presenting dance performances, such as "Natya Samarpana." Dr. Nair is dedicated to training the next generation of classical dancers, with many of her students performing publicly and completing their arangetrams under her guidance.
