Beena Keum first saw this form of dance in Mira Nair's 2001 flick Kamasutra. It was a brief glimpse of this classic form that inspired Keum to learn it. She made up her mind to learn it. To fulfil her dream, she travelled all the way to India and learned it. According to a report in the Hindustan Times, Beena Keum now travels to various places across the world and presents this dance form.
