Bhoomika Dash is an Indian actress and classical Odissi dancer, primarily recognized for her work in the Odia film industry. Born on January 22, 2003, in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, she is the daughter of Trupti and Prasanna Kumar Dash. She completed her schooling at DAV Public School, Unit-8, Bhubaneswar, and is currently pursuing her B.D.S. from the Institute of Dental Sciences, Bhubaneswar. Dash began her acting career as a child artist in 2014 with the Odia film "Rumku Jhumana," for which she received an Odisha State Film Award for Best Child Artist. She made her debut as a lead actress in Ollywood with the film "Tu mo love story" in 2017. Her filmography includes movies like "Gapa Hele Bi Sata" (2015), "Hero No. 1" (2017), and "Nayakara Naa Devdash" (2019). Alongside her acting career, Bhoomika Dash is a dedicated classical Odissi dancer. She has expressed her passion for Odissi, calling it her "first love," and regularly practices the dance form. She has performed Odissi at various events, including "Aekalavya – Season 16," organized by Guru Shri Saswat Joshi at Rabindra Mandap. Her dance training includes guidance from gurus such as Prashant Kumar Behera, Padma Shri Guru Smt. Aruna Mohanty (for choreography), and Guru Smt.
