Bhupesh Joshi is a distinguished figure in Hindi theatre, recognized for his extensive contributions as an actor, director, and educator. A Drama Graduate of the Bhartendu Natya Academy (BNA), Joshi has dedicated over two decades to the field of theatre. He was a professional theatre artist with the esteemed SRC Repertory Delhi for eleven years, during which he performed in more than 50 plays, including notable productions such as "Jis Lahore Nai Dekhya Wo Janmya Nai," "Khamosh Adalat Jari Hai," and "Romeo Juliet." His directorial work spans over 20 plays, including "Ashaadh Ka Ek Din" and "Charudatt." Beyond the stage, Joshi has also appeared in several feature films, including "Pinjer" and "Amal," and various television serials. He is the Director of GATHA Theatre Group in Delhi and continues to work as a freelance actor for theatre, television, and films. His significant contributions to theatre were formally acknowledged with the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award for Acting in 2020. He also received a Junior Fellowship in the field of Theatre.
