Chinta Radhakrishna Murthy (1910 - 1988) was a prominent figure in the Kuchipudi classical dance tradition. He was initiated into dance by his father, Narayana Murthy, and further honed his skills under the tutelage of esteemed gurus Chinta Venkataramayya and Vempati Venkatanarayana. Murthy was highly regarded for his proficiency in Kalapams, particularly Bhamakalapam and Gollakalapam. His performances were notable for his ability to portray both female and male characters with equal finesse, including roles such as Usha and Mohini in "Mohini Rukmangada," and Sankara and Krishna. Throughout his career, he traveled extensively across India, presenting performances with the "Chinta vari melam." Beyond his performing career, Chinta Radhakrishna Murthy was recognized as an "excellent teacher" who trained numerous students to a high standard. His notable disciples include his son Chinta Adinarayana Sarma, Anuradha Jonnalagadda, and Jyothirmayi.
