Chinta Ravi Bala Krishna is a distinguished Kuchipudi dancer, teacher, choreographer, and Nattuvanar, born on June 3, 1984, in Kuchipudi Village, Andhra Pradesh, India. He hails from a traditional family of Kuchipudi Bhagavatulu, inheriting the art form as a family tradition. He was initiated into Kuchipudi by his father and Guru, the late Natyabhushanam Sri Chinta Ramamurthy. His training further continued under eminent gurus including the late Sri Vendantam Ratayya Sharma, the late Sri Chinta Ramanatham, Padmasri Sri Vendantam Satyanarayana Sharma, and Sri Korada Narsimha Rao. Chinta Ravi Bala Krishna began his journey as a solo dancer at the tender age of five, subsequently performing at various national and international venues. He is known for his lyrical beauty in pure nritta and his fresh, subtle, and mature abhinaya. He specializes in the unique performing style of Pagati Vesham, where he adeptly portrays multiple characters in a single episode. Beyond performance, he is also trained in Carnatic vocal music and plays the Mrudangam, which enhances his understanding of music and rhythm. Academically, he holds a Diploma in Yakshaganam from The Siddhendra Yogi Kuchipudi Kala Kshetram. He earned a Master's degree in Kuchipudi dance from The Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University, where he was awarded a gold medal. He also holds a Master's in Telugu Literature from Acharya Nagarjuna University and has been selected as a PhD candidate from the Telugu University. He has received scholarships from CCRT, the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, and the Kendra Sangeet Natak Academy. Currently, he serves as a dance instructor at The Siddhendra Yogi Kuchipudi Kala Kshetram.
