Chinta Seetha Ramanjaneyulu is a revered figure in Indian classical dance, particularly known for his contributions to Kuchipudi. Born in Kuchipudi village, Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh, he began his formal dance training at the age of eight under his paternal uncle, the legendary "Kuchipudi Yakshagana Pittamaha" Chinta Venkatramayya. He also received training from Guru P.V.G. Sarma. Ramanjaneyulu initially gained widespread acclaim for his masterful portrayal of female roles, a traditional aspect of Kuchipudi Yakshaganam. His notable impersonations include Usha in 'Usha Parinayam', Leelavathi in 'Prahalada', Chitralekha in 'Gayopakhyanam', Mohini in 'Mohini-Rukmangadha', Satyabhama in 'Bhama Kalapam', and the milkmaid in 'Golla Kalapam'. Later in his career, he transitioned to performing male characters such as Krishna, Harischandra, and Hiranyakasipa. He is also recognized for producing several dance dramas, including 'Sagarasoudham' (depicting the history of Nagarjuna Sagar), 'Bhakta-Kannappa', 'Bheeshma pratigna', 'Mana Bharatam-Maha Bharatam', and 'SvatantrodyamaSamvakaram', showcasing his imaginative and deeply understanding approach to presenting classical dance-dramas for contemporary audiences while preserving the classical style. His significant contributions to the Kuchipudi art form are particularly evident in Kuchipudi, Gudivada, and Nagarjuna Sagar. He is known for encouraging younger generations to learn the art form in its traditional, unadulterated system. He taught his daughter Seethalakshmi and dedicated his youngest son, Chinta Siva Adinarayana, to the art form.
