Debashree Patnaik is a prominent Odissi dancer, recognized as a representative of the new generation in the ancient art form. Her journey in Odissi began at the age of five under the tutelage of Sri Ganesh Swain at the Orissa Dance Academy. At sixteen, she continued her training under Shri Yudhisthir Nayak, and has also received guidance from Shri Bichitrananda Swaim from Rudrakshya. She has received intensive training from both the Orissa Dance Academy and Rudrakshya, accumulating 15 years of training. Debashree is known for her unique dance style, which is a result of her passion, self-motivation, and dedication to Odissi, allowing her to explore creativity without compromising the classicism of the dance form. She is an accomplished performer who has toured globally with Rudrakshya's new choreographic works and conducts workshops. Her performances have garnered numerous national and international accolades and praise from dance enthusiasts worldwide. Beyond her dance career, Debashree Patnaik holds an M. Tech in Computer Science Engineering and has worked as a senior lecturer. Awards & Honours: Sringarmani.
