Deeksha Arya is a professional Indian classical dancer, proficient in both Bharatanatyam and Mohiniattam. Her foundational training in these intricate classical dance forms was meticulously acquired under the guidance of esteemed gurus Smt. Nirmala Madhava, Smt. Usha Datar, and Smt. Dhanya Santhosh. Throughout her artistic journey, Arya has graced numerous prestigious stages, delivering captivating performances across various locations in India and in Montreal, Canada, which serves as her current base. Her dedication to the preservation and promotion of Indian arts and culture is further exemplified through her active involvement with the Bharatiya Sangeetha Sangham Montreal, where she has held significant leadership positions, including Vice President and President. This organization plays a crucial role in fostering a vibrant community by bringing together gurus, artists, students, and art appreciators to celebrate the rich tapestry of Indian classical traditions. In addition to her performance career, Deeksha Arya has experience in imparting her knowledge of Indian classical dance to children, contributing to the next generation of artists.
