Dipanjana Dutta is an accomplished Indian classical Odissi dancer, recognized for her extensive performances and professional standing in the art form. She received her foundational and advanced training in Odissi under the esteemed guidance of danseuses Sujata Mohapatra, Rina Jana, and Pabitra Kumar Pradhan in Bhubaneswar. Her formal education in Odissi includes achieving significant qualifications from the Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal, Mumbai, where she passed Pravesika Purna with distinction in both 2012 and 2013, and Visharad Pratham with a first division in 2017. She also holds a Visharad Purna from the same institution. Dutta's professional career is marked by her empanelment as an Odissi soloist with the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi. She is also recognized as a graded artiste in both Odissi and Sattriya dance by Doordarshan, and an empanelled artiste for the Festival of India, Abroad, under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. Her performances have graced stages across India and internationally, with tours encompassing countries such as the USA, Denmark, Portugal, and Canada. She has also been featured in several telecasts on Doordarshan, including from Guwahati and national telecasts from New Delhi. In recognition of her talent and dedication to Odissi, Dipanjana Dutta was a recipient of a scholarship for young artistes in Odissi dance from the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, for the year 2015-16.
