🪔 About
I have been an avid lover of kathak since a very young age.I remember walking into Nupur Dance Academy,Kolkata holding my mother's ( she has the rare accomplishment of being a lady sarod player trained by none other than legendary Radhubabu -Radhika Mohan Moitra)hands and instantly falling in love with the ambience. My first guru Nritya Shiromani Smt Bandana Sen took one look at me and immediately took me into her folds. Thus started my love affair with kathak.I was among the fortunate few who were handpicked by Pishi for training at her own hands right from the first year till I completed visharad. After a substantial break I have again picked up my ghungroos and I am blessed to be have been taken into folds by legendary Guru Pt. Rajendra Gangani ji and his able shishya Shei Nitesh Kesarwaniji.
