Eishita Nariani is a dedicated Kathak dancer, teacher, and choreographer, serving as the Head Guru and Program Manager at Mudra Dance Studio in Centennial, Colorado. She has held this position since 1994, contributing significantly to the studio's mission of spreading Indian classical and folk dance. The Mudra Dance Studio was established in 1993 by her mother, Namita Khanna Nariani, who trained under Guru Bhima Shankar and incorporated diverse dance forms like Bharatanatyam, tango, and jazz alongside Kathak into her teaching methodology. Eishita Nariani continues this tradition, offering instruction in North Indian classical Kathak dance, enriched with folk and modern elements. She is committed to fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment, inviting students of all ages and backgrounds to explore dance and music. Beyond her contributions to the arts, Eishita Nariani also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and is a Registered Nurse (RN). Her work at Mudra Dance Studio emphasizes not only technical proficiency but also the cultivation of a supportive community that embraces diversity and self-expression through dance. The studio celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2023, a testament to its enduring presence in the Colorado arts scene.
