Born in Kolkata, India, Elina Mullick developed a passion for dance from her childhood. She pursued Kathak, an Indian classical dance form known for its quick movements, attractive rhythms, and deep expressions, under eminent Kathak Gurus in Kolkata. Her academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts with Honors from the University of Calcutta and a Master of Arts in English Literature from Vidyasagar University. Mullick initially began her career as a language teacher in Kolkata. She moved to Germany in 2011, where she transitioned into a career as a Kathak teacher and performer. She is associated with the Volkshochschule in Düsseldorf, where she conducts regular workshops and classes as a dance teacher. In 2015, Elina Mullick also began offering private Kathak classes. She has performed at over 40 events across Germany, receiving appreciation for her performances. Her notable performances include Kathak presentations at events organized by the Embassy of India in Berlin.
