Evoor S Rajendran Pillai is a prominent figure in Indian classical dance, specializing in Kathakali. He received his preliminary training under the tutelage of Guru Evoor Parameswaran Nayar and Guru Haripad Ramakrishnan Pillai. He later joined the International Center for Kathakali in New Delhi as a teacher, demonstrating his commitment to propagating the art form. His dedication and expertise led him to assume the role of Vice Principal at the institution in 2008. Currently, he serves as the Principal of the International Centre for Kathakali in Delhi and is also the Director of the National Academy for Temple Arts in New Delhi. Throughout his career, Pillai has performed Kathakali in numerous countries, earning significant acclaim and accolades for his contributions to the art. He is married to Sobha, who is also a Kathakali artiste. Awards & Honours: Prathibha Award (2012), Umayanalloor Gopala Pillai Ashans Maraka Award.
