Anuradha Ganesh is a Kuchipudi dancer and teacher based in Beaverton, Oregon, USA. She has been actively involved in dancing and teaching Kuchipudi for over three decades. Ganesh began her dance journey at the tender age of three, initially studying with her father, who was also a professional dancer. At the age of ten, she commenced formal training in Kuchipudi under the tutelage of her guru, Chitti Durga Devi, with whom she studied for fourteen years. After relocating to Oregon with her husband, Anuradha Ganesh started teaching Kuchipudi from her home. As her classes expanded significantly, she established her own studio, the Nartana School of Kuchipudi, in Beaverton. The school currently teaches more than 100 students, ranging in age from five to forty-five. Her students typically begin their training as preschoolers and continue through high school, performing in various cultural events and fundraisers across the Portland metropolitan area. Anuradha Ganesh is recognized as an Oregon Culture Keeper for her contributions to preserving and promoting the Kuchipudi dance form.
