Gayatri Subhash is a dedicated and passionate Bharatanatyam artist who has undergone rigorous training in the classical dance form since 2012 under the able guidance of Guru Shati Vayharu. She has successfully completed certification and diploma courses in Bharatanatyam from Patriu University, demonstrating a strong academic and artistic foundation. Furthering her education, she pursued a Bachelor's in Fine Arts from Shastra University Tanjavur under the guidance of Padma Vibhushan Dr. Padma Subhanam Garu, and holds a Master's in Bharatanatyam, having refined her expertise in Natishastra. Gayatri has also completed intensive training in all 32 Charis described in the Natishastra under the mentorship of Dr. Susata Mahungaru, with whom she is currently continuing advanced studies in Karnas. Complementing her dance training, she has been learning Carnatic vocal music and violin for the past two years under Guru Sri Chandragaru. Gayatri recently marked a significant milestone in her career with her Bharatanatyam Arangetram in August 2026. She is also expanding her artistic horizons by learning the Odissi classical dance form under Guru Shrimati Priti Mahabatrau and is pursuing a BA in cinematic arts and design from Githam University Hyderabad. Her aim is to teach Bharatanatyam not only as a dance or an art, but also as a way of life.
