Geetha Ganesan is a renowned Bharatanatyam exponent, accomplished Naatyacharya (dance guru), nattuvanar, and vocalist, based in Hyderabad, India. She is recognized for her versatile performances and her dedication to teaching and choreographing. Geetha Ganesan received her initial training in Bharatanatyam under Guru Sri P.R. Balakrishnan. She further honed her skills under the guidance of Guru Sri V.S. Ramamurthy and Guru Smt. Manjula Ramaswamy, who are the directors of Sri Rama Nataka Niketan, Secunderabad. Academically, she holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics (Hons.) from Devi Ahilya Vishwa Vidyalay, Indore, and a Master's Degree in Performing Arts from the University of Hyderabad. Geetha Ganesan is the founder and director of the Uttaraa Center for Performing Arts (UCPA) in Hyderabad. Through UCPA, she has been instrumental in promoting classical dance, notably introducing 'Naatyanjali Hyderabad' in 2016, a unique event in the city. She has also been a regular performer at the Natyanjali festival in Chembur, Mumbai, participating for almost seven years. Awards & Honours: Scholarship.
