Jeyanthi Arumuganathan's profound passion for Bharathanatyam led to the establishment of Naatyaanjali (Offering the Arts), a Bharathanatyam Dance School in Singapore. She developed a love for this classical art form approximately 31 years ago. Her foundational training in Bharathanatyam commenced under the tutelage of Mrs. Neila Sathyalingam at Apsaras Arts, and she further honed her skills under Mrs. Santha Bhaskar of Bhaskar's Arts Academy and Nrityalaya Aesthetics Society. Jeyanthi Arumuganathan is also trained in Kuchipudi, another prominent Indian classical dance style. Throughout her career, she has performed extensively in various Nrityalaya productions. Notably, she was part of the "Chakra" production, which was staged in Bangalore in 2011 and Singapore in 2012. Her performance experience also includes representing Nrityalaya on its significant Ramayana tour, which covered major Indian cities such as Chennai, Ayodhya, Orissa, and Delhi. Additionally, she performed in the "Manohra" production in Chennai. Beyond performing, Jeyanthi Arumuganathan is also skilled in Nattuvangam, the rhythmic accompaniment for classical dance. Naatyaanjali, under her leadership, has been conducting Bharathanatyam classes since 2007. The school was officially launched on December 14, 2013, by Mr. Vikram Nair, a Member of Parliament for Sembawang GRC. The academy's mission is to share the beauty of Bharathanatyam and to nurture individuals, both male and female, aged three and above, in this fine art. Naatyaanjali also explores and incorporates new dance forms, moves, and gestures into its choreography to align with evolving tastes. The school currently conducts classes at Sri Ruthra Kaliamman and Sri Muneeswaran Temple. In 2011, Jeyanthi Arumuganathan was invited by the Northern Territory Department of Chief Minister Multicultural Affairs in Darwin, Australia, in collaboration with the Hindu Society of the Northern Territory, to choreograph and teach Australian teenagers, culminating in a successful fundraising performance titled "Aham".
