Jolafin is a Kathak dancer and teacher based in Basel, Switzerland. Born and raised in Cologne, Germany, she began learning Bharatanatyam and folk dances at age 5. She is a senior student of Kathak under Guru Surangama Lala Dasgupta (Kolkata) and also trains under Guru Pali Chandra. She follows the Lucknow Gharana tradition.
