K. Rekhanjali John Sivaraj is a prominent Bharatanatyam dancer, teacher, and the Principal of the Nirmalanjali Academy of Bharathanatyam, an institution founded by her mother, Natyapoorna Dr. Nirmala John, in Colombo, Sri Lanka, in 1986. Rekhanjali completed her Arangetram in 2007, a debut performance graced by the presence of renowned dancer V.P. Dhananjayan. Having received her training in Bharatanatyam directly from her mother, Rekhanjali has demonstrated exceptional mastery of the art, proving herself a worthy successor to her mother's legacy. She holds a Post Diploma from Kalai Kaviri School of Fine Arts, India. Her career includes solo performances in the USA and group performances as a main dancer in both the USA and India. Rekhanjali actively assists her mother in training students at the Nirmalanjali Academy, which offers courses leading to diplomas and prepares students for examinations of the Kalai Kaviri College of Fine Arts in Tiruchirappalli, India. The academy also has a presence in Australia and Sri Lanka. Alongside her sister, Kalanjali John, she is recognized as one of the "Anjali Sisters."
