Kalaivani Rajmohan is a distinguished Indian classical dancer, a Bharatanatyam exponent, and a choreographer, based in Delhi, India. She hails from a lineage of temple dancers, representing the fifth generation of her family in the art form. Her father was a renowned Bharatanatyam and Carnatic style guru who began his career in Delhi in 1960, joining Triveni Kala Sangam alongside Guru S. K. Ramaswamy Pillai. Kalaivani Rajmohan continues this rich family legacy, dedicating herself to the preservation and promotion of Bharatanatyam. Her journey in dance began at a very young age, with her first stage performance taking place after eleven years of rigorous practice, emphasizing the importance of thorough training before public presentation. Throughout her career, she has graced numerous prestigious national and international stages, representing India in countries such as Canada, London, and Switzerland, where she performed at the Festival of India in 2018. She also showcased her artistry at the renowned Khajuraho Dance Festival in 2018. As a respected dancer and teacher, Kalaivani Rajmohan is committed to nurturing the next generation of Bharatanatyam artists. Her contributions to the field have been recognized with accolades such as the Kartik Award of Excellence, which was conferred upon her in 2022 during Kartik Fine Arts' 47th-anniversary celebrations in Chennai.
