Kalamandalam Radha Marar is a highly accomplished and senior Indian classical dancer, renowned for her expertise in both Bharatanatyam and Mohiniyattam. A graduate of the prestigious Kerala Kalamandalam, now the University of Performing Arts, Government of Kerala, she received her Mohiniyattam training under the tutelage of the late Guru Chinnammu Amma and Guru Smt. Kalamandalam Satyabhama. For Bharatanatyam, she was trained by esteemed gurus such as the late Guru Tanjavoor Bhaskara Rao, Guru Pantanelloor Swaminatha Pillai, and the late Guru K.J. Govindarajan. Radha Marar is the Founder Director of "Kala Madhuri" (Regd.), an institution established in New Delhi in 1976 for the promotion and training of Indian classical dances and music. She has been actively imparting training in these dance forms for over three decades, guiding hundreds of students. Her performances, both in India and abroad, have garnered significant appreciation from dancers, critics, and art enthusiasts. Beyond her role at Kala Madhuri, she currently serves as the Head of the Department of Performing Arts at Laxman Public School in Delhi and acts as a Resource Person for various institutions under the Government of India. Her contributions to enriching the cultural landscape of the capital are widely recognized.
