Kalamandalam Vishnupriya is an accomplished Indian classical dancer, choreographer, and teacher specializing in Bharatanatyam and Mohiniyattam. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Kerala Kalamandalam (2017) and a Master of Arts (M.A.) from Kerala Kalamandalam deemed University (2019). Additionally, she earned a Senior Diploma from Bhangiya Sangeet Parishad Calcutta in 2014. Vishnupriya has over ten years of experience as a professional dancer and has been featured in the 'Upcoming artist column' of prominent newspapers like The Hindu and Hindustan Times. She is a recipient of the CCRT Junior Scholarship in Kathakali, which she held from 2008 to 2015, and was also a scholarship awardee in Kathakali for three consecutive years from 2011 to 2013. She received the Best Dancer award from Bal Bharati Public School in New Delhi and a Silver Medalist from Bhangiya Sangeet Parishad in 2012-2013. In 2020, she was honored as an Indian Star Awardee in the field of dance performance and teaching. Vishnupriya has choreographed and assisted for significant events including the CWG 2010, JANAM TV GLOBAL EXCELLENCE AWARD 2018, and WCF 2017, and performs live shows across India. She currently runs the Vishnupriya Natyalaya in New Delhi with her father, Guru Balakrishna Marar, who is the founder director of the institution.
