Karthika Devi Ganesh is a distinguished figure in Indian classical dance, serving as the founder and artistic director of Shakthi Shethralaya Dance School, located in Calgary, Canada. She is primarily recognized for her profound dedication to Bharatanatyam, which she regards as a way of life. Karthika Devi Ganesh received her training from the esteemed Kalaimamani Srimathi Parvati Ravi Ghanatsala, who mentored her in the intricate aspects of Nattuvangam and abhinaya. Throughout her career, Karthika Devi Ganesh has been a prolific performer, gracing numerous prestigious events, including The Bharath Urchav Festival. Her artistry has also reached international audiences through performances on prominent television channels such as Jaya TV and Asianet. Beyond performing, she has demonstrated her creative prowess by directing, producing, and choreographing a multitude of Bharatanatyam dance dramas and conducting various dance shows on television. Her contributions to the art form have been recognized with multiple awards, notably a Gold Medal presented by the late honorable president Sri. Shankar Dayal Sharma.
