Kartik Singh Mura is an eminent Chhau artist hailing from the Purulia district of West Bengal, India. He is a prominent figure in the traditional Indian classical dance form of Chhau, which is recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Kartik Singh Mura inherited and honed his artistry under the tutelage of his father, the legendary Chhau artist and Padma Shri award winner, Gambhir Singh Mura. He leads his own Chhau dance troupe, known as Adibasi Chhau Nritya Dal. Mura is not only a performer but also a dedicated guru, actively involved in training younger generations in the intricate techniques and storytelling of Chhau dance.
