Kirtana Romfh is an Indian classical dancer specializing in Bharatanatyam. She began her training at the age of four under Smt. Hema Rajagopalan as part of the Natya Dance Company of Chicago. At six, she moved to Massachusetts and continued her Bharatanatyam studies with Smt. Jyoti Raghavan at the Nrityanjali Dance Co. In 2013, after relocating to California, Romfh joined the Abhinaya Dance Company, where she trained under Smt. Mythili Kumar. Since 2019, she has been a performer in Abhinaya's Junior Dance Company, directed by Smt. Malavika Kumar Walia, and has performed at events such as the San Francisco International Arts Festival. Kirtana Romfh celebrated her Bharatanatyam Arangetram on March 19, 2022, at the School of Arts and Culture at The Mexican Heritage Center of San Jose. In addition to her dance pursuits, she is also learning Carnatic music from Sruti Sarathy. She graduated from Palo Alto High School in 2022 and plans to pursue Applied Mathematics with a minor in Spanish. Her younger brothers, Aditya and Ravi Romfh, are also following in her Bharatanatyam footsteps.
