Kumari Mrudula Ramanujam is an emerging Bharatanatyam dancer, a disciple of Guru Radhika Ramanujan, who is the Director of Kalaranga School of Dance in Bangalore. She commenced her training in Bharatanatyam at a very young age, immersing herself in the art form. Mrudula completed her Arangetram, a debut solo performance, in 2021, marking a significant milestone in her dance journey. She is actively advancing her skills in Bharatanatyam and is currently undertaking advanced studies in the intricate architecture of the Karanas under the tutelage of Vidushi Padmini Upadhayay. Beyond her dance pursuits, Mrudula Ramanujam is also pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree at St. Joseph's University in Bangalore. She has showcased her talent by performing at various dance festivals and venues. Notable performances include a Bharatanatyam presentation at the Bandstand, Cubbon Park, on April 13, 2025, as part of the Revival Series, and a Bharatanatyam solo at the Vaishakha Natanam 2026 festival held at Bekal Gokulam Goushala in Periya, Kasargod, Kerala.
