Lakshmi Pramod is a Bharatanatyam dancer and teacher based in East London, UK. She commenced her Bharatanatyam training at the age of four under the tutelage of Smt Pushkala Gopal and Sri Unnikrishnan. Pramod has been performing since she was eight years old and completed her Arangetram in February 2010. Her performance experience includes various Mudralaya productions, such as "Vasanta Utsavam" and "Return of Spring" for Mudralaya's 20th anniversary. She has performed at notable events like Diwali at Trafalgar Square, the Embassy India Project opening ceremony in Serbia, and the London International Arts Festival in 2012. Additionally, she regularly performs at the MahaLakshmi Temple in Manor Park during festival periods. Lakshmi Pramod has transitioned into teaching, offering group and individual classes. She prepares students for ISTD grade examinations and for performance events, including their Arangetram. She is associated with SanskritiUK and NatyaNetwork as a teacher. Beyond her dance career, Lakshmi Pramod holds a B.Sc in Biochemistry/Forensic Science from the University of London and works full-time as an FP/A professional while pursuing her ACCA qualification.
