Meghana Kompally commenced her Bharatanatyam training at the age of nine in Muscat, Oman. For four years, she trained in the Kalakshetra style under the tutelage of Guru Smt. Shailaja Sreekumar. After a temporary break, Meghana resumed her dance education at Laasya in Calgary, where she embraced the Mysore style of Bharatanatyam under Guru Smt. Mridul Burgi. She has since developed into a proficient senior performer and also serves as a student teacher. Meghana is dedicated to advancing her skills, exploring choreography, and delving into other Indian classical and folk dance traditions. She completed her Rangapravesham in March 2024.
