Mrs. Srimathi Malar is a well-known Bharatanatyam dance choreographer based in the Wilayah Persekutuan of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She established the Hari Ayer Dance School in 1948, specializing in Bharatanatyam. Mrs. Malar was also one of the founding members of the Temple of Fine Arts. Her career in dance spans over five decades, during which she actively performed in numerous international locations including Kuala Lumpur, Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, London, Helsinki, Chicago, Dublin, India, Sri Lanka, Japan, and Singapore. Currently, she holds the position of senior dance director at the Temple of Fine Arts.
