Mrs. Swathy Krishna is a classical dance teacher and performer with over 12 years of experience in Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, and Mohiniyattam. She holds a Post Graduation (MFA) in Bharatanatyam and diplomas in Kuchipudi and Mohiniyattam. She received her training under Kalai Kaveri. Mrs. Krishna is the founder and classical dance teacher at Devakshetra, her private enterprise based in Manama, Bahrain. Prior to establishing Devakshetra, she worked at Imac Bahrain. She has performed extensively, with over 1500 stage performances in various locations across India and the Kingdom of Bahrain. Her dedication to teaching has enabled many of her students to achieve awards in both India and Bahrain, and she has conducted numerous Arangettams for them. Mrs. Swathy Krishna has been recognized with several awards for her dance performances, including a "Best Acting Award," Mayura Natyanjali in 2015, and Brahan Natyanjali, Chidhambaram Natyanjali, South Zone Cultural Center Tanjavur Harmony Festival, and Bought Festival, all in 2013.
