Kiranmai Bonala is an accomplished Indian classical dancer and teacher specializing in Kuchipudi, with additional training in Bharatanatyam. Hailing from Hyderabad, South India, she began her dance journey at the age of four, learning from her mother. She holds a diploma from Telugu University (1997) and an MA in Kuchipudi and Bharatanatyam from Prayag Sangeet Samithi, Allahabad. Bonala also received training in Nattuvangam from Gurus Sri. PRC Sharma and Smt. Kamala Rani, Chief Nattuvanar, Kalakshetra, Chennai. Throughout her career, Kiranmai Bonala has performed extensively across India, participating in numerous prestigious festivals and events. Notable performances include the Kuchipudi dance festival by Sangeeta Natak Academy in Hyderabad (1997), Yuvotsav at Vijayawada (1997), NINAD music and dance festival in Agra (2014), and the Chennai Margazhi Nrithyotsav (2022). She has also performed at various temples, including Mookambica temple, Saraswathi temple, and Lord Shiva temple in 2015, and Sri Ayyappa Swamy temple in New Delhi in 2005, 2009, and 2014. As a dedicated educator, Kiranmai Bonala is a prominent Kuchipudi dance teacher, committed to spreading the art form through workshops and instruction. She has conducted young teachers' training programs organized by the Andhra Pradesh government at the Kuchipudi Art Academy. She leads the Sammohana Arts Academy and is associated with the Sanchalana School of Dance (formerly Anasuya Arts Academy), offering both online and offline classes.
