Namrata Pulapaka is a Bharatanatyam dancer and Carnatic vocalist based in Sydney, Australia, performing in both Australia and India. Her initial Bharatanatyam training was under Smt. Radha Kalyan and Smt. Prema Ananthakrishnan, followed by tutelage from her uncle Sri M. Srikanth. She is currently a disciple of her grand-aunt Smt. M. Seshamani. Pulapaka completed her Bharatanatyam arangetram in February 2018, guided by Guru Aruna Gandhi. She is recognized as a graded artist of AIR Hyderabad and provides vocal accompaniment for classical dance performances. Actively involved in the Sydney Carnatic music scene, she is an organizer and artistic content creator for Yuva Sangeetha Margam (YSM), a platform dedicated to encouraging Carnatic music among the youth. Pulapaka also teaches students and has contributed to choreography, notably composing the finale for the Bharatanatyam ballet "Thathastu" in 2015. Awards & Honours: Various music competitions.
