Smt. H.N. Nandhini Suresh is a distinguished Bharatanatyam exponent, teacher, choreographer, and the visionary founder-director of Sri Sai Nrithyalaya, located in Chennai, India. Her profound dedication to the art form is underpinned by a strong academic foundation, holding an M.A., M.Phil, and an M.F.A. in Bharatanatyam, with her Master of Fine Arts degree earned from Annamalai University. Nandhini Suresh received her comprehensive Bharatanatyam training under the tutelage of Guru Dr. Bala Nandakumar, who is the Principal of Sri Sathguru Sangeetha Vidhyalayam in Madurai. Further expanding her expertise, she delved into Nattuvangam, learning from the late Bhagavatalu Sri Sitarama Sharma, a renowned Carnatic composer, vocalist, and choreographer. She continues to refine her understanding of rhythm, exploring the intricate nuances of Thalam under the guidance of Laya Tapasvi Dr. G.V. Guru Bharadwaaj. In 2006, Nandhini Suresh established Sri Sai Nrithyalaya, an institution dedicated to imparting training in Bharatanatyam, where she has been actively teaching since its inception. Her significant contributions to Indian classical dance have been recognized with prestigious accolades, including the "Vani Kala Nipuna" from Sri Thyagabrahma Gana Sabha and the "Nallor Virudhu" awarded by the Youth Association for Cultural Development and Sri Krishna Sweets. As a choreographer and performer, Nandhini Suresh has conceptualized and presented numerous dance productions and initiatives. Notable among these are "Velli Ambalam" and "Mazhalayar Manjari," which emphasize Tamil literature and feature compositions by poets like Mahakavi Bharathiyar. Her other acclaimed productions include "Dasavataram," "Nandanar Charithram," "Navarasa Nayaki," "Sri Yogiram Surat Kumar's Divya Charithram," "Sivapuranam," "Aranum Angayarkanniyum," and "Aarumugamum Arunagirinatharum."
