Nidhika Loomba Tuli is a Kathak dancer based in Virginia, USA. She received her training from the acclaimed Kathak dance couple, Hari and Chethana, who are the directors of Noopur Performing Art Center in Bangalore, India. Additionally, she has studied Taal and Indian Rhythms under Pandit Sri. Divyang Vakil. Loomba Tuli has performed extensively at various dance festivals across India, including the Brahma Gana Sabha in Chennai, Shivaratri Mahotsav in Vellore, Naada Niranjanam in Tirupati, Natyajanli FestivalPerur, and Hampi Utsav. Her international performances include appearances at the Kennedy Art Center in Washington D.C., Wolf Trap in Virginia, Baltimore Theater Project in Maryland, National Arts Center in Ottawa, Panteges Play house in Winnipeg, Korzo Theater and Gandhi Center in the Netherlands, and Musée Guimet in Paris, as well as éspace Culturel Django Reinhardt in Strasbourg. In 2016, she was selected to deliver a TEDx talk on Kathak in Boston. She also served as the IndianRaga State Ambassador for Indian Classical dance in the 21-34 age group. Loomba Tuli leads NIDHIKATULI, an institution dedicated to Kathak dance. Through her rigorous training and exposure, she aims to explore the nuances of Kathak and present works that transcend cultural and linguistic barriers.
