Oishanee Bhattacharjee is an accomplished Odissi dancer based in Kolkata, India. She began her dance journey at the age of six, receiving rigorous training under the tutelage of SNA Awardee Guru Sutapa Talukdar at the Gurukul Dance Institute. Bhattacharjee is recognized for her dedication to preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of Odisha through Odissi dance. Her performances are noted for bringing Indian mythology to life, conveying emotions and spiritual messages through expressive movements and graceful postures. She has performed on national and international stages as a disciple of Guru Sutapa Talukdar. Bhattacharjee has received numerous accolades throughout her career, including scholarships from the Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT) and the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. She is also an empanelled artist of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR).
