🪔 About
Vidhushi Pallavi Bhagavath is an accomplished Indian classical dancer, choreographer, and educator, recognized for her expertise in Bharathanatyam, Mohiniyattam, Kuchipudi, and Kathak. Her journey in dance began at the tender age of nine, driven by a profound love for Bharathanatyam, which led her parents to enroll her in a dance school despite the considerable travel from their village. She received her initial training under the tutelage of Guru Balakrishna Natya Nilayam in Manjeshwar, Kerala, where her natural talent was meticulously honed. Pallavi Bhagavath was trained in the Pandanallur and Vazhuvoor styles of Bharathanatyam. She performed her Arangetram in 1998 at the age of 15, an event held at the prestigious Mangalore Town Hall. Following her debut, she pursued Senior and Vidhwath studies under the esteemed guidance of Karnataka Kalashree, Vidhushi Kamala Bhat, securing the top position in both examinations conducted by the Karnataka Secondary Education Board. Throughout her career, Pallavi Bhagavath has choreographed and performed on numerous renowned stages and in temples across Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Sydney, Australia. Her notable performances in dance dramas include portraying Shiva in Daksha Yajna, Yashoda in Krishnavataram, and Krishna in Parijatha. She has also been a member of Karnataka Kalashree Vaijayanthi Kashi's team for Kuchipudi performances. Beyond performing, she has served as a judge, examiner, and choreographer at various dance competitions.
