Pasumarthi Sai Deepika is an accomplished Kuchipudi dancer hailing from a distinguished lineage of Indian classical dance. She is the daughter of Sri Pasumarthi Seshababu, a renowned Sangeetha Natyacharya and exponent of Kuchipudi Yakshaganam, and the granddaughter of the legendary Kuchipudi artist Sri Pasumarthi Venugopala Krishna Sarma. Sai Deepika received her foundational training in Kuchipudi dance from her illustrious father. Furthering her academic pursuits in the art form, she holds a Diploma in Kuchipudi Yakshaganam and a Masters in Kuchipudi dance from the University of Hyderabad. In addition to her dance training, she is also a well-trained Carnatic vocalist, having studied under Guru Sri Komanduri Seshadri. Sai Deepika made her Rangapravesam (debut performance) on July 12th, 2007. Since then, she has performed in numerous prestigious national festivals, including the Nimapara Festival in Odisha, the Tanisha youth festival in Kuchipudi village, and Dasara in Puttaparthi. She is an accredited dancer with Doordarshan and an empanelled artiste of the Indian World Cultural Forum (IWCF). Her talent has led her to perform alongside eminent Kuchipudi artists such as Padmasri Dr. Shobha Naidu and Hamsa Awardee Smt. Swathy Somanath. Pasumarthi Sai Deepika has specialized in choreography and Nattuvangam, showcasing her versatility in various aspects of Kuchipudi. Her notable portrayals include 'Parvathi' in Shivapadam, 'Sathyabhama' in Bhamakalapam, 'Girija' and 'Manmadha' in Girija Kalyanam, 'Sita' in Lava Kusa's Charitham, 'Leelavathi' in Bhakta Prahalada, 'Gopika' in Gopila Krishna ballet, and Ardhanareeswaram. She is associated with Kuchipudi Nritya Bharathi, a school of music and dance founded by her father in Hyderabad. Awards & Honours: Nrutya Kowmudhi (2009).
