Pavithra Srinivasan is a highly inspired and dedicated Bharatanatyam artiste of her generation, recognized for her exquisite facial expressions, grace, and beautiful execution of footwork. She has performed extensively across India, the UK, USA, Canada, and Europe in prestigious organizations and events, captivating audiences worldwide. Pavithra Srinivasan received advanced training in Bharatanatyam under the tutelage of the illustrious and renowned Padma Bhushan awardees, The Dhananjayans, and was part of their performing group of students. She is the founder of Arsha Kala Bharati, an institution named by her spiritual guru, Swami Dayananda Saraswati. Her dedication to Bharatanatyam, Carnatic music, and the study of Vedanta is considered her lifelong spiritual discipline (Tapasya). Pavithra Srinivasan has conceptualized and choreographed several solo productions, including "Panchatantra," "Sundara Kaandam," "Purushaartha," "Shiva Parivar," and "Ananda." She is also deeply committed to a mission of presenting the entire Bhagavad Gita through Bharatanatyam, chapter by chapter, to a global audience. Beyond performing, Pavithra serves as a cultural ambassador through her writings, interviews, lecture demonstrations, workshops, and as a moderator and judge. She is also a Visiting Fellow of the India Foundation. Her artistic endeavors aim not only to entertain but also to educate and enlighten her audience.
