Perini Venkat is a significant figure in Indian classical dance, particularly known for his contributions to Perini Natyam and Andhra Natyam. He is a direct disciple of the late Padmasri Dr. Nataraja Ramakrishna, who is widely recognized for his pivotal role in the revival of these ancient dance traditions. Perini Venkat has dedicated his career to the preservation and promotion of Perini Natyam, a traditional Telangana dance form historically performed by warriors before battles. He holds the position of Director and Choreographer at Natraj Dance Academy - Msn, Ajn. His educational background includes studies at Potti Sriramulu Telugu University. Venkat is also an esteemed teacher, having introduced and trained numerous students in Perini Natyam, including the twin brothers Santosh and Sai, who have gone on to perform the art form across India. Through his teaching and performances, Perini Venkat continues to uphold the legacy of his guru and propagate the rich cultural heritage of Perini Natyam.
