Prava Priyadarshini is an Indian classical Odissi dancer and educator. Her foundational training in Odissi classical dance was completed at the esteemed Sriram Bhartiya Kala Kendra in New Delhi, where she honed her skills under the expert guidance of Guru Priyambada Pattnaik. This rigorous classical training laid the groundwork for her career in dance. Beyond her dedication to Odissi, Priyadarshini possesses a diverse educational background. She pursued and completed a post-graduate degree in Fashion Designing from the Pearl Academy of Fashion, also located in New Delhi. Additionally, she holds a Diploma in Fine Arts from Bangiya Kala Parishad in Kolkata. This multidisciplinary academic journey reflects a broad engagement with various artistic and creative fields. As a prominent figure in Odissi education, Prava Priyadarshini is the founder and director of her own institution, Aadarshini. This academy has been actively functioning for over a decade, demonstrating her sustained commitment to teaching and promoting the classical dance form. Aadarshini is officially registered and maintains affiliations with several significant cultural and academic organizations across India. These affiliations include the Pracheen Kala Kendra in Chandigarh, the Lalit Kala Academy, the Sangeet Kala Academy in Bhubaneswar, and the Rabindra Bhartiya University in Kolkata. Through Aadarshini, Prava Priyadarshini extends her expertise by offering comprehensive certificate courses in Odissi classical dance.
