Priya Dixit is an accomplished senior Bharatanatyam artiste from India. She is a disciple of veteran danseuse Sudharani Raghupathy. Dixit has been recognized for her proficiency in the art form, receiving prestigious awards and citations from various art organizations. In December 2018, Kartik Fine Arts honored her with the "NRITYAJYOTI AWARD of Excellence in Bharatanatyam" at the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Hall in Chennai. Her performances include a classical dance tribute to the legendary Carnatic vocalist M.S. Subbulakshmi. This homage was presented alongside Prabha Dixit, who is also a disciple of Sudharani Raghupathy. The duo performed at Karthik Fine Arts on January 7, 2016, and subsequently at Krishna Gana Sabha on January 11, 2016. Their performance commenced with the kriti "Sriman Narayana" and included the varnam "Maathe Malayadhwaja Pandya Samjaathe." For a segment of their tribute, they were joined by Shreya Lakshmi Kaundinya. Priya Dixit's career highlights demonstrate her dedication and skill in Bharatanatyam, contributing to the rich tradition of Indian classical dance.
