Radhika Prabhu is an accomplished Indian classical dancer specializing in Bharatanatyam, who also integrates classical ballet into her performances. She received formal training in Bharatanatyam from various gurus since her childhood. Additionally, she trained in classical ballet for five years with Yana Lewis in Bengaluru and at The Royal Academy of Dance, London. Prabhu is recognized for her solo performances that uniquely combine the styles of both Eastern and Western classical dance forms. Her performing career includes representing India at the Indo-Chinese cultural exchange programme in 2007, where she performed alongside her Guru, Shubha Dhananjay, in cities such as Beijing, Nanjing, and Shanghai. She has graced national and international dance festivals, with performances across the United States and the United Kingdom, including the inaugural Bath Indian Music Festival and an invitation to perform at the Nehru-Wangchuck Cultural Centre in Thimphu, Bhutan. At the age of 16, she took on her first lead role in the dance ballet "Vasavi Vaibhava." She continues to perform as a classical soloist. Beyond dance, Radhika Prabhu is also a published poet and a visual artist. She holds a Bachelor in Visual Arts from Karnataka Chitrakala Parishat and an MA in Fine Arts from Chelsea College of Arts, London. Her paintings and installation works have been exhibited in galleries in both India and England. In 2015, she was in the process of establishing an Art Foundation in Bangalore. She is the daughter of veteran theatre and television personality Srinivasa Prabhu and contemporary Kannada poet Ranjini Prabhu. Radhika Prabhu divides her time between Bengaluru, India, and London, UK.
