Ragini Iyer is a dedicated Bharatanatyam dancer, whose training is rooted predominantly in the Vazhuvoor bani. She honed her skills under the tutelage of Guru Ramya Ramnarayan in the USA. Ragini Iyer has accumulated over 15 years of performing experience, during which she has graced the stage as part of various ensembles under the auspices of different organizations. Her performances have included pieces such as 'Shree Saraswati Namostute & Chokanathar Kauvithuvam' choreographed by Ramya Ramnarayan, and 'Javali' and 'Thilang Thillana' with choreographies by Swamimalai Rajarathnam Pillai and Jayakamala Pandian. Her journey into professional classical dance followed a successful career in the corporate sector. Ragini Iyer holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Shillong. For a decade, she applied her expertise in leadership roles within operations and marketing for healthcare start-ups. More recently, Ragini Iyer made the significant decision to transform her profound passion for Bharatanatyam into her primary profession. She is now actively engaged in performing and imparting her knowledge of the dance form, teaching Bharatanatyam to both beginner and intermediate students. To further her commitment to the art, she founded Swayukti Natyashala in Bangalore, India, an institution dedicated to the propagation and teaching of Bharatanatyam.
