Rajashree Holla is a highly acclaimed Kuchipudi dancer, known for her graceful movements, precise footwork, and expressive abhinaya. She began her training in Kuchipudi at the age of five, learning from a distinguished lineage of gurus. Her early training included studies under Vedantham Ramalinga Shastri in Vijayawada starting in 1985, and later with Guru Smt. Dharani Kashyap and Smt. Veena Murthy Vijay in Bangalore from 1993. Currently, she continues her training under Guru Uday from Hyderabad. Holla had her Arangetram in Vijayawada in 1990. At the young age of eleven, in 1990, she had the privilege of participating in the Kuchipudi Utsav held in Kuchipudi village, Andhra Pradesh. Throughout her career, she has performed extensively across India and internationally, gracing major cultural festivals such as Beluru, Pattadakallu, Badami, Hampi, Mysore Dasara, and the International Cultural Festival in Russia. Rajashree Holla is also a dedicated teacher and the director of Laasya Lahari Kuchipudi dance school, which she founded in 2006 in Bengaluru. The institution is recognized for its personalized teaching approach, nurturing students in the traditional guru-shishya parampara. She is also a choreographer, with her work noted for its precision and adherence to traditional Kuchipudi style.
